About Isaiah Tappan

Isaiah was born in November 2012 as a perfectly healthy baby boy.  At six months old a routine checkup turned more serious when it was discovered that Isaiah was losing weight and was having a difficult time breathing.  A chest X-ray revealed his heart was enlarged. Isaiah and his family’s lives were turned upside down when he was admitted to the Cardiac ICU at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where he was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Now facing the possibility of a heart transplant Isaiah’s family has turned to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for support. COTA has provided this family with hope in what, at times, seems like a hopeless situation. To follow Isaiah and his family on this journey please visit the blog section of this site. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers.
